Aerosmith from Best Bands of All Time
Aerosmith is an American rock band, sometimes referred to as "the Bad Boys from Boston" and "America's Greatest Rock and Roll Band". Their style, which is rooted in blues-based hard rock, has come to also incorporate elements of pop, heavy metal, and rhythm and blues, and has inspired many subsequent rock artists.

My favorite Rock band in the world. I can't believe they aren't even in the Top 100 of Greatest Musicians here. What's wrong with voters? Aerosmith are pure legends with countless superhits. My favorite albums are "Permanent Vacation" and "Pump"

I agree with Captain Dude - Aerosmith consistently produces quality work, and have created some really strong albums. However, apart from Toys in the Attic, no single album ranks up there with the all time greats. I can think of half a dozen really good albums, but only one fantastic. I guess they're a much stronger singles band - hence the number of greatest hits packages available. Such an entertaining live band, even now, in their 50s.
Aerosmith is a great band...no doubt. TOY IN THE ATTIC is, I would say, their most cohesive album. They've always been very good for singles...they've always been a great band to see live...they just haven't found the right formula for making a great, thorough album just yet.
Their first 4 albums are amazing, but the stuff after that is pretty comercial. Toys In The Attic & Rocks were full of catchy guitar riffs, awesome screams and just relaxing music in general. But as I said before, don't try anything after Rocks. Favorite songs: Last Child, Sweet Emotion, Walk This Way, Rats In The Cellar
Great band in the early years, they did some ups and downs after Rocks. The quality of their work has often dipended on Joe Perry, though Steven Tyler is an amazing singer.
My favorite! Most like the late 80ies/early 90ies period with Permanent Vacation, Pump, Get A Grip. Great!!
