If there was a chart for best album covers(only Riggs ones), Maiden would be number 1 no doubt. Well, IHMO, absolute best ever Heavy Metal band. I like both D'iánno and Dickinson equally, although Bruce is the perfect singer for the band, mainly in the earlier albums.

What a classic fucking band! Saw them live and they were great. But the studio albums are just phenomenal. It must be incredibly hard for them to come up with a setlist. Sooo many hits and just great solid songs. Number of the Beast is THE masterpiece but you really can't go wrong with any other album... except for the Blaze Bailey ones... avoid those.

I have always liked Maiden. They put on a high energy show and some of their work such as TNOTB and Piece of Mind are about as good as it gets when it comes to metal. However, at times their songs can drag.

Best metal band ever.In the studio and live.

Hit or miss, but when they're at their peak it's heavy metal nirvana. Plus, they're amazing live!

One of my favorite metal bands and amazing live performers who put on arguably THE best concert I've ever seen. Their work throughout the 1980's is an unreal string of metal classics with very few low spots, though from after that, it's been a little spotty. Still a legendary, culture changing band.
