Mountaineer from Top Facts about the Great Beast Aleister Crowley


Aleister loved traversing the various mountains of the world. He took on the practice while at Eastbourne College and Cambridge and continued with Oscar Eckenstein when he visited Mexico. Crowley has climbed The Alps from 1894 to 1898 and mountains in Scotland as well as the Bernese Alps, Monch, Wetterhorn, Colima, Iztaccihuatl and Trift.
