Super Smash Brothers Melee from Best GameCube Games
If we are allowed to play as Mario and fight Pikachu or Yoshi, we’re talking about some of best GameCube games. A crossover fighting simulator includes many characters from the Nintendo gaming franchises, bringing a good Mortal Kombat vibe to your favorite GC characters. And a lot of references to the original games as well.

None of the Smash Bros games should be on the Mario wiki. It's a crossover series with all the Nintendo characters which just includes Mario and other Mario series characters. But, that does NOT qualify it as a Mario series game.
