Warframe is a free2play shooter with sci-fi setting by the developer Digital Extremes. From a 3rd-person view, the players control their characters, which are placed in the given warframes, futuristic combat suits, which provide the basis for the classes of the shooter and therefore have different abilities. The developers describe their warframes as a kind of futuristic space ninja, so there are also swordfights. Warframe relies on co-op action for up to four players. To the story: Warriors of the Tenno race, who lay in the Cryoschlaf for years, are awakened to fight against the troops of the Grineer empire. The advantage of the Tenno: They are masters in dealing with the powerful Warframe combat suits. Both fractions are derived from humans, but the Grineers, who now dominate all sectors of the solar system, are threatened and hassled by excessive cloning of the genetic decay. They see it as their task to extinguish the Tenno. The Tenno itself is now lacking its cultural memory, which is why they are viewed by some only as self-serving mercenaries, but not as noble warriors. They are awakened into a war they do not know. In addition to the Grineer, there are still two more factions, one of them the Corpus attacking with combat robots.
