Nagashima Spa Land Amusement Park’s Steel Dragon continues to find its name on the list of the top 10 fastest roller coasters in the world and not just in Japan. With 95 mph speed, the roller coaster is said to have cost over $50 million to be built.

The only German roller coaster in this list, it was built to operate at an average speed of 99.4 mph. However, the Nunburging Motor Sports Complex never inaugurated the potential fastest roller coaster in the world, stating it to be economically nonviable.
