Dark Souls 3 Best Weapons

The third installment of the hardcore series never fell short under expectations - it is as hard to play and as rewarding to beat as any other DS game. The strategy depends heavily on the character’s gear and most of the times it is the only thing that wins you boss fights in Dark Souls 3. Best weapon is required for at least having a chance against someone you struggle to beat. The choice is amazing and each can find something for their own tastes. What’s your best weapon in Dark Souls 3? Take a look at the list and vote for something you like the most.

Farron Greatsword

Dark Souls 3’s best weapon against Abyssal foes and many others, for that matters. It offers a 20% damage bonus to the Abyssal enemies and has a 3-attack cycle. Player uses a dagger as a left-handed wedge. The dagger does a critical hit when an opponent's attack is parried in time.

Fume Ultra Greatsword

Fume Ultra Greatsword has a huge damage rating and is most useful when dual-wielded. Has a unique skill called Stomp; players can use their weight to rush enemies and strike from a low stance, which performs a crushing attack that will take down enemies.

Sunlight Straight Sword

Best weapon in Dark Souls 3? Most suitable one for the OP faith builds for sure. It does not have the damage comparable to a good greatsword, but when used in combination with high Faith and Oath of Sunlight, almost nothing can stop it.

Wolf Knight’s Greatsword

Wolf Knight's Greatsword in Dark Souls 3 is a memorable flashback to the original Dark Souls as it is the greatsword that was wielded by Knight Artorias himself. Wolf Sword skill differs on the type of attack. The normal one would inflict a low-spinning slash while the strong attack will let you leap and slash from above.

It uses less stamina and is available early despite being very powerful, truly the best weapon in Dark Souls 3 in terms of availability. Makes the wielder adopt the style of the samurai. The Hold skill, when executed as a normal attack, will result in a lunge-slash and the strong variation will perform a deflecting parry.
